GUIDELINES FOR THE MEN'S AND LADIES CUP MATCHES

LEAGUE CUP FOR THE SENIORS AND INVITATION CUP FOR THE RESERVES

LEAGUE CUP (MENS SENIORS )

Duration of Game: - 2 x 45 minutes halves.

 

What happens at the end of ninety minutes: - 2 x 15-minute halves. If the scores are level at the end of extra time the game shall be decided by

 

taking penalty kicks.

 

Penalty shootout: - Yes

 

Substitutions / Interchange: - SUBSTITUTIONS. – Seven can be named on the team sheet only five can be used as a substitute.

 

Match officials: - The cost of the match official shall be paid for equally by the two-competing teams, with the home team organising actual

 

payment to the match officials.

 

If you are a two-team club and for whatever reason you can only field enough players for one team, that team must play in the

 

 SENIOR CUP, NOT THE RESERVES CUP.

 

If a player is named as a substitute but does not play in the game, he is still eligible to play in the Invitation Cup.

 

Once a player has played for your SENIOR team he cannot play in your RESERVES in the INVITATION CUP

 

Match Officials fees for the League Cup: - Referee is $120.00 Assistant Referee is $60.00 per person. The fees are to be shared by both teams

 

 

INVITATION CUP (MENS RESERVES)

 

Duration of Game: - 2 x 45 minutes halves.

 

What happens at the end of ninety minutes: There is no extra time, the game shall be decided by penalty kicks.

 

IN THE SEMI FINAL AND FINAL IF THE SCORES ARE LEVEL AT THE END OF NINETY MINUTES TEN MINUTES EACH WAY WILL BE

 

PLAYED - If the scores are still level at the end of extra time the game shall be decided by taking penalty kicks.

 

Penalty shootout: - Yes

A player who has played in the Reserve INVITATION Cup Competition is eligible to play for his clubs’ Senior team but once he has played for the

 

senior team he is deemed to be cup tied and therefore cannot then play for the reserves team.

                                                                             INVITATION CUP (WOMEN’S CUP)

 

Duration of Game: - 2 x 45 minutes halves.

 

What happens at the end of ninety minutes: - NO EXTRA TIME - If the scores are level at the end of 90 MINUTES the game shall be decided by

 

taking penalty kicks.

 

Penalty shootout: - Yes

 

Players can be INTERCHANGED – Seven can be named on the team sheet and all players can be used as many times as you wish.

 

Match officials: - The cost of the match official shall be paid for equally by the two-competing teams, with the home team organising actual

 

payment to the match officials.

 

Match Officials fees for the Invitation Cup: - Referee is $70.00 Assistant Referee is $60.00 per person.
